When we were working on our nework today i discoverd, that the batman-interface had the state "DOWN" after runnig puppet. So I stoped and started the fastd-service, which brings up the batman-interface and it seemed, that ifup was not bringing up the batman-interface properly. So I replaced the line with the tool 'ip', which worked fine in my tests.
