I completely missed the (excellent) example because I was looking at the master code and had got used to convention of the example being in a folder rather than being its own branch. That's just because I'm new to this, but I may not be the only one.
Good idea, it should definitely be called out more! After I merge, I'll also move the bit about the npm run example command as well. People can either just checkout the branch or use npm.
