XMLHttpRequest error #4

Really neat project and associated paper. On your hosted site, I'm getting this error message in the console ...

[Deprecation] Synchronous XMLHttpRequest on the main thread is deprecated because of its detrimental effects to the end user's experience. For more help, check https://xhr.spec.whatwg.org/. send @ jquery.min.js:4

... along with some notices in the UI after hitting the "Get Taxa" button.

Thanks for your words.

I'm sorry to have replied late. Unfortunately, the API connection to NCBI has reached the limits so it's no longer possible to use the application from the webserver. Please run the application locally. You can do it by downloading the zip folder from this gitHub repository. Please let me know if you have other issues. I'll be happy to guide you if you want to use BOM for a particular target.
