Downstage Left Lightarm won't keep connection unless we use ridiculously long wire between buck converter and LED board #1

Upstage Left Lightarm has short wire running across the front of the arduino and maintains connection for over an hour.

Tried the following:

disconnected buck converter from 12V input (solved issue)
disconnected buck converter 35V output from LED board (solved issue)
slightly longer wire than Upstage Left Lightarm, going below the front side of the control platform (no change)

Today we found that , when not installed in the ceiling area the questionable light arm setup seemed to have no electrical issues, could it be emf or weird inductance ?

we also tried a different power strip and moved the positions of the ethernet jack in the switch,

next test would be switching the positions of the two light arms in the truss ?

23:12 , been pinging it from upstairs for a while , then came down here to press r on 0.72 and it froze . hrm now it doesnt ping anymore
