de-couple the admin/install/grid machines from the physical machines #154

from @jabl ".. (it) would be nice if admin/install/grid/etc. were all vm's/containers and then you'd run them spread out over however many physical service nodes one has..."

This would help for sites running only one physical server/frontend. And also for sites that want to run a more highly available cluster.
