Wifi turns off when lid closed and connected to iphone 4s #119

No Sleep on Macbook Air Latest, Late 2013 Build, Running Latest OSX 10.9.2,
Latest NoSleep downloaded March 2014.

No Sleep does not prevent the Wifi from turning off. Connected to iphone 4s
with the phone plugged in and in never lock mode, Wifi from phone stays active.
Closing the lid on the Air turns the Wifi off after the normal timeout period.

Can nosleep keep the wifi active when connected to iphone?

Hello,

What do you mean by "normal timeout period"?
Could you check Apple->System Prefs.->Energy Saver. What are your values?

Hi,

I have my "turn off the display" setting at 15minutes, I guess this is the
sleep setting. So if I close the lid and check after like a minute the wifi is
still on. If I check after say like 8 minutes its off...so its somewhere in
between those times when OSX shutsoff the wifi. Also today I had the no-sleep
turned on with my lid open and I had to leave the computer for at least 2 hours
and when I came back the Wifi was off.

Thanks
Dan

I'm having the same issue. Let me know if there's anything I can do to provide
debugging information
