Fix GH-8 #46

This is a potential fix for GH-8.

I've reproduced the bug with https://github.com/fgrehm/vagrant-cachier/issues/8#issuecomment-19299046 and with this patch things seem to be working fine :)

I've done some more testing on this today and things seem to be working fine, I'll merge this in and will finish up the apt-cacher-ng related stuff and will push a new version to rubygems later on
