is there a big compatibility list or is it small?

what files are needed for the games to work?

For the full version of Half-Life, you'll need the valve folder from your retail or Steam copy of Half-Life. For Blue Shift, you'll need the valve and bshift folders. For Opposing Force, you'll need the valve and gearbox folders. For Counter-Strike, you'll need the valve and cstrike folders. Note that for the Steam version all these folders should be in steamapps/common/Half-Life if you have Half-Life, Blue Shift, Opposing Force and Counter-Strike installed. If you want bots for Counter-Strike, also install this.

Any mods that aren't mentioned in the Mods supported out-of-the-box list here or in the README will only work if they do not contain any additional game DLLs (i.e. there's no cl_dlls or dlls in the mod folder).

This is all mentioned in the README and in the release notes that I linked above. Please read that before posting an issue. Though I guess I do need an actual mod compatibility list.

You can check this list yet.

wow that is a very nice list nekonomicon

like I used to play half life a long time a go when I was a kid, just look at what has happened to it. and a lot of game makers need to release the source code, it is very sad that some games have not had it released to see the full potential, on android with mods and so on.
