What changes are being implemented in this Pull Request?
The intro chapter is honestly skippable in our courses, its just mainly to tell folks what the course is about and how to know if the course is suitable for them.
What was your approach?
Utilizing the set up I've used for other ITN courses here.

New Content Checklist
[x] New content/chapter is in an Rmd file with this kind of format and headers.
[x] New content/chapter contains learning objectives.
[x] Images are in the correct format for rendering.
[x] Every new image has alt text and is in a Google Slide. I need to check on this but I believe @howardbaek has made it so we no longer have to do the copying of the fig alts but instead it should be automatically incorporated. However it is likely that ottrpal R package and the ottr docker image will need some updates
[x] Each slide is described in the notes of the slide so learners relying on a screen reader can access the content. See https://lastcallmedia.com/blog/accessible-comics for more guidance on this.
[x] The color palette choices of the slide are contrasted in a way that is friendly to those with color vision deficiencies. You can check this using Color Oracle.
