Description/Motivation
Python 3.12 shall be added to the unit tests to ensure compatibility. Currently (2023-11-14) some of the depending packages are not ready for this version. As soon as all depending packages are released for Python 3.12 this version can be added to workflow ci.yml.

[x] 1. Add Python 3.12 to the Ubuntu unit tests
[x] 2. Increase Python version for all further OS tests
