Hi,

may I ask what your use cases for this app are? Really just interested.

Thanks!

Beating icecream, if making it manually, agitating developer, if developing film manually, and, I'm sure, many other processes that require periodic intervention.

A powerful reminder app, I suppose.

I use this app to receive recurring notifications on my Mi Band.

i use it for bicycle traveling at night (device attached to handlebar), so in case it falls it's easy to notice the sound isn't there (and easier to look for it if there is nobody with me to call it, or call sound is off). if my friend was using NotoficationCron he would still have his fav device. (there are apps like https://github.com/Seva-coder/Finder/ which is great, but not always helpful for solo traveling)

Can this app be used for non-periodic notifications? Or maybe someone could point at another free (as in freedom) Android app for this case?

alekksander commented 3 years ago

this app works for pre-determined intervals only. if You want notifications per even try easer perhaps.

Hello there! Sorry for posting a message in this thread. I kind of think this is just me doing something wrong. So it's more a question than an issue registration. I've just installed your application from f-droid. I'm not familiar with quartz scheduler notation so i've taken a peek into app's help and then into quartz-scheduler.org's tutorial page. I wold like to set up something like a chime on my smartphone and the expression i tried to wrote was: 0 0 7-21 2-6. But my efforts were in vain: Update button was not active. But once i rewrote it to 0 0 7-21 ? everything worked just like it should. Take a look at screenshots i've taken: 1, 2. So, is it really me doing something wrong or some kind of an issue?

Hi @audthmbs, you cannot use both "Day of month" and "Day of week". One of the two components must be a question mark.

Oh, now i've got it! Thank you very much!
