download: output of categorys in the block #11

I added the block "Category Menu" with default settings in for the front end. 
The block works, but I can see an empty entry. (see picture)

I'm sure, that I have added one category only.

If I add a sub category, than I can no entrys find in the block. There is an 
empty space only.

If you have a main category and a sub category, you can not see this in the 
block. The debugger shows the following errors:

The block doen't work since startup.. I've a problem to display subcategories. 
Hope, I get this fixed soon. If you have an Idea on the code, feel free to 
teach me :-)

changed way to get category block to the same way like content module does. 
should work now

The block shows the links from category and subcategories now, but the link 
from the subcategories is not correct. 

The link for a subcategory is like this:
modules/downloads/index.php?cat=
