If I want to change a category in the frond end (as admin) or in the backend, I 
can change the category image, but the module will not save my changes.

can not reproduce this. I have changed my categories in frontend, selected a 
new folder and it's changed. did it changed the other values?or got you a 
message?

Works with Rev #63 - maybe it was a trouble with a template.
