If you want to edit an entry from the log, you get a blank page without any 
errors.

Maybe for the first step you should show this list only, without edit, because 
this list is useful.

it's because it's not allowed to add/edit log entries. Im looking for a way to 
disable the buttons.

Might be possible, it's a core bug. I'm not able to disable the buttons. Ticket 
on Assembla created.
