Making sure this has been run before running the PHP script solves the problem: sudo apt-get install -qq software-properties-common python-software-properties
.
Should this line be a requirement (include in base.sh)?
hmmm, you may need to update your base box (use vagrant box
to see what versions/boxes you have downloaded and to update the ubuntu/trusty64
box).
The software-properties-common
package is installed in base.sh
. It ubuntu 14.04, it replaces the python-software-properties
package as a means of getting the add-apt-repository
command.
As I'm using VMware Fusion, the box being used is precise64. I'm not sure if there already is a VMware box available for 14.04
I'm getting the error in VirtualBox, with default trusty64 box, when I set drush/drush:master-dev as my sole Composer package.
I never knowingly commited anything to this project. I tried to update my fork last weekend, which failed.
When uncommenting all the packages my machine, it keeps hanging on this message:
Updating dependencies (including require-dev)
A few lines before that it shows me an error, which probably causes the hang:
This is what my Vagrantfile looks like, running it using the VMware provider:
