How to quantify the significance of the simulated features #36

... like asymmetry, cable shadow, etc. if the reference plot has no reference character?

Maybe somehow quantify the error one accumulates when not taking the feature into account.

One method would be to quantify the impact on the accuracy of muon direction reconstruction like done by Gerrit Wrede in Effect of the ice model and propagator/spline difference on ideal muon reconstruction, 2018-05-11.
