Standard clsim produces more photon hits than expected #93

During flasher simulations (#89) standard clsim with hole-ice approximation produces more photon hits than hole-ice algorithm (b) with no hole-ice cylinders (#88). The same can be seen in the arrival-time histogram (#91).

But why is standard clsim seeing more photons?
