As discussed in #347, Fief is not really ready to directly serve SSL. Even though the recommended way is still to use a reverse proxy, it's a valid use case for testing and/or experimenting.
[x] Fief-ception is not working since our client expect to reach the local server in plain HTTP, which is not possible when Uvicorn runs with HTTPS. We need to detect that and adjust the client options accordingly.
