In addition to those above, values with only numbers (month not spelled) should be reviewed by each department to ensure compatibility with EMu date format. The month may be written out but If kept as numbers, the dates need to be formatted as DD/MM/YYYY (slash or dash is ok). EMu reads 01/02/1999 as 01 Feb 1999 and 01/02/99 as 01 Feb 2099. Year should always be 4 digits.
The following departments have records with a slash or dash (/ or -): Amphibians and Reptiles - 2435 records Anthropology - 1 DONE Botany - 42 DONE Fishes - 909 Insects - 43 DONE Invertebrate Zoology - 1048 DONE Mammals - 3 DONE Paleobotany - 119 DONE
The records are in the Group "Accession Date Cleanup (slash 'n dash)" in Transactions. You can do an Intersect type Additional Search to see only your department's records. Please post when you have reviewed and updated your records.
Got em for Botany!
Anthro's one is fixed.
All of IZ '/'s are in DD/MM/YYYY. All '-' have been cleaned and removed.

For future reference, dashes are just as good as slashes in dates. Sorry that was unclear.
Mammal records are cleaned up :)
I updated the paleobotany records
Insect Accession records have been cleaned up (including slash-and-dash)! :)
