DISCUSSION POINTS: How to combine four different accession tabs.

DECISION(S):

• Standardize description tables
• Keep AllAcc2Tab, AllAcc4Tab and merge fields that are the same
• The “Accession details” table (AllAcc2Tab) will replace the “Lot details” table on AllAcc1Tab
• • AccCategory_tab (“Category”) - clean values; this field should become attachment field to etaxonomy (to control values)
• • AccGeography_tab (“Geography”) - clean values; this field should become an attachment field to esites
• Move AccAccessionNotes (“Accession Notes”) to Notes tab with Kind = “Accession”
• Remove field: AccAgreementNumber (“Agreement Number”); values have been cleaned out.
• Remove field: (“Agreement Date”) -- same as transaction date

Data Changes Doc Pre new development #7 and 8 Clean values in Category (= Taxa) & Geography (= Sites) For rows with multiple values, text can be copied to Description, and nearest common taxon record can be attached (e.g., if two families are listed, attach the order). For values that don’t map to a site record, add in AccLocality Post development Attach taxonomy & sites move data from fields on the 2 tabs that are going away to the appropriate fields on the 2 tabs that are staying.
