Workflow change to capture multiple simultaneous Location uses: Insert multiple lines in an Event’s Venues table. Use Field Museum as Venue attachment for each line, and the specific Location attachment each on separate lines. Commencement (and if applicable, Conclusion) Dates can be same, if appropriate. (Traveling Exhibits will be moving to creating multiple Event Sub records for each different instance of an exhibit’s staging, instead of using this Venues table to capture travel points of a show.) DATA CHANGES: No data changes required.
DISCUSSION POINTS: Exhibits and some other event types sometimes occur in multiple Internal Locations at one time. Example: Egypt in Hall L and Hall 13, Anthro event using Maori House and Classroom B, Boeing event using multiple work spaces.
