DECISION:
From Repatriation: Avoid the term “Affiliation” since it (& similarly to “Association”) has legal connotations that would cause confusion. "Cultural Group" is better.
If "Nationality" & "Ethnicity" (single-value) and "Cultural Influences" (multi-value) cover what the Anthro Catalogue needs, no need for further structural changes on the Biography (AllBioTab)
Create/Use new record type “Cultural Group”
Merged with original Topic 31: Cultural Group and Organization type records
May 6 2021 DISCUSSION POINTS : Should the Cultural Group-type records be merged/transferred to Organization-type records? Does this affect Repatriation, TK labels, Rapid Inventories Check back in June/July 2021 on usage

@magpiedin
I know the transfer to eparties happened. Can you make a quick note of what was done and close out this issue?
Migration completed in Oct 2018
Follow-up to do:
@magpiedin Is that an "us" task or a cleanup task for the repatriation folks?
us/IT-task unless we update Tab switching for AnthroConsultation group & Tribe Details records
I'll review it with them at next week's regroup (agenda/note)

DISCUSSION POINTS:
Will Cultural Affiliation records need any extra fields for Anthro to be able to capture all necessary terms associated with a group?
Tribe Details [consultations] records are getting migrated to parties -- most/all already exist as “Organization” party records. Should these be converted to a different record type (instead of “Organization”) party records?
From Repatriation: Avoid the term “Affiliation” since it (& similarly “Association”) have legal connotations that would cause confusion.
