Utilize Salesforce for tracking and managing volunteers. Allowing HART to assign shifts, and then allow people, volunteers to go to a website and sign up for shifts.
Some requirements by David Bell:
· Ease of signup – lots of very unsophisticated volunteers trying to figure out how to sign up.
· Signup templates – ability to add required/optional fields to the signup template to capture info we need, including questions they must answer when signing up. Ability include attachments volunteers can open with instructions/procedures.
· Mobile device and desktop signup support.
· Email – being able to email all or a subset of folks based on what they have signed up for. For example, send an email to just those who signed up a specific week or send one to all the regular weekly HART volunteers vs. 1-time volunteers.
· Reporting – print a list of volunteers for a particular week sorted by day and role.
· User Management – ability to give selected users ability to run reports and/or change the signup templates.
