When I open the game after installing mod it closes

Steps to Reproduce

When I open the game after installing any mod, it closes after appearing a windows for a second. I just selected the path, installed one mod and all this happened. My friend achieved to install mods and opening it, so I don't think the problem are the mods

Expected Behaviour

To open the game normally

Actual Behaviour

The game closes after appearing a window of the Knight with an exclamation mark for a second, then the game closes by itself

i have this very same issue with hollow knight beta 1.4.3.2 (for mac) and scarab version 1.33 scarab itself opens just fine, connects to the executable, installs mods alright, but when i try to open hollow knight after that it just crashes. like, opens and immediately closes again. the issue is not in the mods, i have tried enabling and disabling and uninstalling and straight up deleting them from the folder. none of that works, hollow knight just keeps crashing

@asyq The 1.4.3.2 beta isn't supported, HK on macOS is at version 1.5.78.11833 these days. If you're still on 1.4.3.2, you need to get off the GoG/Steam/whatever else beta and switch to the stable branch for the new release.

tengo el mismo problema. Tengo el juego pirata, le saco los mods y funciona perfecto pero si se los pongo me abre una pantalla en blanco con el simbolo de hollow con un simbolo de exclamacion y se cierra. y tengo todo actualizado

Me pasa el mismo problema, de casualidad encontraste solución? ( también lo tengo pirata )

Tristemente no encontré solución el propietario del mod dice que no soporta versiones piratas así que no podemos, si te compras el juego ahí si te va a funcionar los mods
