Dābistān In relation to no. 7 above, somehow, all three of these works in the Rylands have different work IDs even though they appear to basically be the same one; however, attributions for authorship shift, with a lot of scholarly ink subsequently spilled over the issue. Many miscredit Muḥsin Fānī e.g. Rylands Persian MS 190, on which basis many others said the same. However, most now conclude that the author was a Parsi named either Mullā Mubād or Mullā Shāh, a.k.a. Mīr Ẕū al-Fiqār Ardistānī, etc. See Storey Online Vol. 4 no. 404, Marshall no. 447, and Mojataba'i's entry in Ir online.

QUESTIONS:

This person ID for "Majnūn Laylá" links to an isolated CUL record, while this entry is only for just Majnun. However, another entry links to both Qays and "Majnūn Laylá" on VIAF. Should we merge these to the last? Seems a bit odd, but I find no entry for Layla/Layli alone.
