The user guide does not state anywhere that we are able to edit appointments. As such, this is the expected behaviour of the application.
The editApt
command can be replicated using the deleteApt
and addApt
commands. Due to time constraints of the project, and the fact that this was not necessary to the functionality of the product, we chose not to implement the editApt
command.

Reason for disagreement: I know that this is the expected behaviour of the application. That is why I raised this issue as a Feature Flaw, because the application was designed in a certain way but I feel that it should be done differently.
If anything, the team's response suggests that this bug should be flagged as "Not in Scope" rather than "Rejected".
Given that the edit functionality is present for clients and policies, it seems like an oversight to not allow the user to edit appointments too.
