Project Description
FileSwap is a decentralized DeFi platform that offers a non-custodial wallet, token trading, liquidity provision, farming, staking, NFT trading, lending, and perpetual exchange. It provides users with a one-stop-shop for all their DeFi needs in a secure, flexible, and transparent environment.
Value
What are the benefits to getting this right? This proposal is highly valuable for the Filecoin ecosystem for several reasons. It offers a comprehensive DeFi platform that includes a non-custodial wallet, token trading, liquidity provision, farming, staking, NFT trading, lending, and perpetual exchange, all within a single platform. This provides a one-stop shop for users to access a range of DeFi services, which can attract more users to the Filecoin ecosystem. Then our fresh feature: the perpetual exchange feature can provide a unique and attractive offering to users, allowing them to trade FVM tokens and related ones with leverage. This can create new opportunities for users to maximize their returns in the Filecoin ecosystem and attract more traders to the platform. Additionally, with major DEX also supporting FVM, this can create a "CocaCola and Pepsi" effect, where users can take advantage of arbitrage opportunities between the two platforms. Furthermore, we will leverage our waitlist for Gummys.io, which we plan to pivot. As of now, we have 340,000 members on our waitlist and 100k followers on social media, which will provide a significant user base to attract to FileSwap. This gives us a significant advantage over other startups that may not have access to a large existing user base.
What are the risks if you don't get it right?
The bad market could result in fewer users trading on the platform and providing liquidity. This could have a negative impact on the overall success of the platform, making it less attractive to users and potentially reducing its competitiveness in the DeFi space.
Deliverables
The final will be: FileSwap, a fully functional decentralized exchange (DEX) built on the Filecoin blockchain with amazing features like token trading, liquidity provision, farming, staking, NFT trading, lending, and perpetual exchange. We will focus on user experience, security and community offering users a secure experience.
Development Roadmap
This stage focuses on launching the FileSwap platform with essential features like token swapping and liquidity provision. The stage will be composed of two smart contracts and a front-end application (FE APP), with two developers working on the project. The deliverables for this stage include a working version of the platform available on the FileSwap app link in production.
Tasks:
Set up the development environment and infrastructure. Develop and test the smart contracts for token swapping and liquidity provision.Develop the front-end application (FE APP) for the platform. Integrate with relevant blockchain networks and protocols. Conduct a security audit with Certik. Allocate funds for marketing activities to attract users and traders.
Deliverables: FileSwap platform with token swapping and liquidity provision features available on the FileSwap app link in production.
Stage 2: Lending, Bridge, and Audit (4 weeks)
This stage focuses on adding lending functionality and a bridge feature to FileSwap. The lending functionality will allow users to borrow and lend tokens, integrate bridge feature to allow token transfer between other networks and FileSwap. Additionally, a second security audit will be conducted to ensure the platform's security and reliability.

Develop and test the lending functionality for FileSwap. Develop and test the bridge feature to allow token transfer between FileSwap and other blockchain networks. Integrate with relevant blockchain networks and protocols. Conduct a second security audit with Certik. Deliverables:

Maintenance and Upgrade Plans/
The FileSwap team is committed to the long-term success of the platform and will continuously work to improve the user experience, add new features, and integrate with emerging technologies. Regular maintenance, security audits, and customer support will be provided, and new features will be added based on user feedback. We will do fundraising as soon we have more traction to support ongoing maintenance, upgrades, and marketing initiatives to attract more users and increase liquidity provision. The team will also seek partnerships and collaborations to enhance the Filecoin ecosystem.
