Next Step Microgrant: YAAP NFT Avatar Engine Server

1. What is your project? (max 100 words)

YAAP is an NFT Avatar Generator suite of tools and YAAP NFT Avatar Engine Server is the server behind it. This project seeks to bring YAAP into a mainnet release and also give back to the community by open sourcing its version of the engine server to the masses so that web3 developers can build on top of it to create frontend dapps with all the needed endpoints from start to finish in the avatar generation backend process.

2. How will IPFS, Filecoin, or related technology be used for this project? (max 100 words)

It's being used to:

• Upload of all avatar images from collection to IPFS
• IPFS folder creation to be used as an API endpoint containing all resulting schemas

3. How will you improve your project with this grant? What steps will you take to meet this objective? (max 200 words)

• Currently the engine is configured and suited for the YAAP Dapp. We want to do the missing work to make it really easy to use. Better readme, steps, example folders with frontend, and detached config for a easier usage on any Dapp.
• Remove the current step of uploading images to Google Storage on the generator endpoint (for preview images before deploying) and migrate that missing step to IPFS.
• Developer time to release YAAP into production. After the hackathon I have continued working on the project and it's on the final phase to get a beta release in mainnet.
• Resources to relase to mainnet. Pay for Pinata Picnic Plan, Moralis production Server, Google Storage, Google Firebase and Heroku Server /with redis addon.
