  1. yourself/ your organization (with links to official website/social media/news mentions etc)
  2. Your history working on IPFS/Filecoin (notable contributions to the community, type of engagement shown over time etc)
  3. Use case: type/source/quantity/diversity/scarcity of the data you plan to store on Filecoin
  4. Miners you intend to allocate DataCap with allocation proportion(with redundancy/location/specific requirement of storage miners)
  5. What's your next plan for the data you plan to store in Filecoin Network? For-profit or not?
  6. Would you be OK in posting deal transactions here?

Hi @steven004 , thanks for replying, here are my answers.

    2. FileDrive team has been in Filecoin ecosystem from 2019, and conscientiously concentrate on development distributed storage solution. Our vision is to build a data transaction platform on Filecoin Network. Our team is composed of talents with years development experience. We have self-developed underlying codes, and technical architecture and solutions of distributed storage. In 2019, we independently developed DriveUp, which is a beta version cloud storage application based on IPFS. Over hundreds of users participated in testing phase. In 2020, we established Shanghai Xuanling Technology Co., Ltd, and began to work as start-up company. Since September 2020, we participated in Slingshot competition by Protocol Labs and developed an application named FileDrive. FileDrive is a open source databank powered by IPFS/Filecoin, users can retrieve any data by file-name or content hash. Now, there are over 2.9k files from global public datasets stored on it with capacity of more than 57TiB storage space.

    4. All of the data on FileDrive are useful and valid, and from public datasets, which are on the list of Filecoin Slingshot curated datasets. On filedrive.io, there are over 57TiB data from more than 15 global public datasets. We'll choose scarce and valuable data and store no more than 10 copies.

    All data are from public open datasets, as a result, there is no copyright issue involved.

  4. Miners you intend to allocate DataCap with allocation proportion(with redundancy/location/specific requirement of storage miners)

    • Redundancy: at least 3 copies
    • Proportion: at least 3 miners
    • Location: intend to store data in Asia
    • Miners: have great reputation and contribution in Filecoin Community, accept real data deals during Slingshot Competition, or are willing to store real data on Filecoin Network.

  5. What's your next plan for the data you plan to store in Filecoin Network? For-profit or not?

    6. All data on filedrive.io are non-profit. Everyone can search, browse and download these data by using FileDrive.

  6. Would you be OK in posting deal transactions here?

    7. Yes, of course.

Hey @laurarenpanda , thanks for the clarification. Can you kindly specify what part of data will be saved using the particular datacap if you are granted with this request? You know, the Slingshot curated datasets is a long list.

Using 5 TiB Datacap, We will storage data from Landsat8, which is a public dataset with multispectral time series satellite imagery of all land on Earth since 2013. Landsat 8: https://registry.opendata.aws/landsat-8/#usageexamples
