Share a brief history of your project and organization

ND LABS has technical operation centers and nodes in Singapore, Hong Kong, the United States, and Dubai. Since Fil has launch of the mainnet in 2020, ND has begun to provide technical services to partners to help them complete the construction of storage services. At present, the accumulated storage power of ND exceeds 300P globally. The largest node has 100P storage power, and the node owns exceeds more than 1.4 million FIL. 
ND LABS is positioned as a decentralized storage service provider for WEB3. For a long time, ND not only focuses on building nodes for partners, but also explores how to provide better storage services for potential clients of web3. Since October 2021, ND has been deeply involved in the FilPlus project, vigorously promoting the Filplus project to partners who has effective data storage needs. We also providing them with a complete set of solutions and technical services for storing data in the FIL network. The Singapore and US nodes are the main storage nodes, which was provide real data storage for early customers.

The ESAC Science Data Centre (ESDC), located at the European Space Astronomy Centre (ESAC), Madrid, Spain, provides services and tools to access and retrieve observations and data from ESA's space science missions (astronomy, planetary science and heliophysics). The majority of ESA's space science mission archives are developed and maintained by the ESDC, in coordination with the science operations centres, the instrument teams and the consortia of the various missions.

As a longstanding member of the community, we strive to strictly adhere to community guidelines.

The European Space Agency Science Data Center project is an independent and open initiative, with its data content being publicly accessible and holding value for humanity.

Therefore, we aim to take a leadership role as an SP in storing and backing up this data. We will reach out to at least five or more retrieval-supporting SPs in different regions, all of whom have been previously validated for retrieval in other projects.

Additionally, we will gradually shift the focus of retrieval proportions towards HTTP retrieval. Furthermore, we are committed to strictly prohibiting the use of VPN. We hope to gain the support of the community members and notary nodes in this endeavor.

@NDLABS-OFFICE If the data is authentic, the storage providers are distributed, known and trustworthy actors, and the ability to retrieve information is ensured, I can't find any reason why I shouldn't support you and use this LDN as a model for others to follow.

Best practice for storing large datasets includes ideally, storing it in 3 or more regions, with 4 or more storage provider operators or owners. You should list Miner ID, Business Entity, Location of sps you will cooperate with.

  1. Yes, it's ready.
  2. Yes, we have prepared multiple data preparation plans before, including network transfer and disk transportation. The appropriate data preparation plan will be determined based on the cooperating SP. For example, #2055 is the LDN we are currently working on.
  3. Currently, there are two data preparation plans: First, we will download the project data to our storage server. For cooperating SPs with good network bandwidth, we will provide download links. For cooperating SPs with poor network bandwidth, we will use disk transportation. We are still using the optimized lotus packaging solution and considering whether to transition to the boost solution.
  4. We will handle the preparation, with cooperation from the SP.
  5. We have searched for the LDN and found no previous storage records for this dataset on the LDN. Therefore, we believe it has not been stored before.

Hello @NDLABS-Leo per the new guidelines https://github.com/filecoin-project/notary-governance/issues/922 for Open Dataset applicants, please complete the following Fil+ registration form to identify yourself as the applicant and also please add the contact information of the SP entities you are working with to store copies of the data.

This information will be reviewed by Fil+ Governance team to confirm validity toward the Fil+ guideline of a distributed storage plan and then the application will be triggered for notary review. Let us know if you have any questions.

But because you are a known actor in Fil+, perhaps we can just ask here that you share more detail about the SP entities you are working with.

But for example, Zenlayer Inc is a VPN service name and I'm assuming that SP is not located in Los Angeles.

Can you share actual entities names and locations showing distribution? That is the core of what we're asking. Thank you.
