Deep clean this repo and remove any/all irrelevant code #1597

This repository contains a variety of configurations with a wide selection of tech stacks: k8s, ansible, terraform, bash script, python, helm, no longer in use gitops, and more. We should:

Review the entire repo structure.
Remove all code that is no longer in use.
