Diversity and Decentralization

Use Case Diversity

(Optional) Any additional information you'd like to share about the use case(s) you plan to support?

answer here:

We are keep building decentralized data storage applications based on Filecoin and IPFS. Use cases we are planning to support as follows:

Allocation Plan

Concreteness of Allocation Plan

Allocation Strategy

How do you plan on allocating the DataCap requested above? Please describe your allocation strategy with as much specificity as you can.

answer here:

We will focus on the system rules, improvement and process construction of DataCap allocation. We plan to build an online distribution management system, and will generate a unique CID and IPFS link for all data. These data will be distributed publicly through the management system, and all the distribution processes will online and publicly.

When assigning DataCap, we plan to establish a credit and scoring mechanism to screen out the highest-scoring clients through investigation and discussion. The credit score depends on the following factors:

The data score will have a threshold, and clients below this threshold will be banned. The higher the score, the more DataCap quota can be allocated.

After the pre-review of the above conditions, we will screen out eligible storage clients, and continue to tracking, continue to optimize and adjust the process, the subsequent tracking and feedback mainly reference to the following elements:

Are there any internal processes you plan on impelementing regarding the target, amount, or rate at which you'll allocate DataCap?

answer here:

All processes including the results of discussions will be published to Github. Online management system will collect the github repo pull requests by github open api.

How do you plan on securing the DataCap to ensure your organization (and its delegated members) are the ones allocating the DataCap?

answer here:

We plan to use a multi-signature authorization model for DataCap allocation.

Client Due Diligence

How will you vet your Client to ensure they are spending that DataCap responsibly?

answer here:

We need to investigate and understand clients detailed. Clients need to clarify how the DataCap will be allocated, build a fair mechanism, and store all operation history and information in database for review and tracking.

We are preparing the following questions to vet our client:

The above questions will be calculated to obtain a comprehensive score. Clients whose score and credit are lower will not be allocate DataCap.

What questions will you ask to ensure the Client can properly handle the DataCap you intend to allocate to them?

answer here:

Based on credit mechanism, the following question might be asked:

What processes will you employ to confirm that a Client is not improperly over-allocating DataCap to a single entity?

answer here:

We believe that open and transparent distribution rules, and strict and pragmatic execution are important factors to ensure that there will be no over-allocating DataCap to a single entity. All allocation processes will be publish online, and distributions that are too centralized will not be allowed.

Bookkeeping Plan

Do you plan on keeping records of your allocation decisions? If so, with what level of specificity do you intend to respond to any audit requests?

answer here:

Yes, I fully support the recording of the allocation decision, all processes will be published on Github repository.

Do you plan on conduct your allocation decisions in public (e.g. Github repo), private (e.g. over email, Telegram, etc), or both?

answer here:

Sure thing, we will take the public allocation on Github repo to make sure the principle of fairness, transparency and openness.

Track Record

Past allocation

Have you previously received DataCap to allocate before? If so, please link to any previous applications.

answer here:

None

Cumulatively, how much DataCap have you previously successfully allocated?

answer here:

None

Have there been (or are there still) any disputes raised against you from your previous DataCap allocations?
