Jdownloader features #635

Jdownloader has some killer features which are Click'n Load and .dlc files and I think it would be absolutely great if they were ported (if possible) to File Centipede.

What Click'n Load does is that when you open a website like Filecrypt that splits downloads into different .zip files, it has a button at the top with the text "Click'n Load" and when you press it all downloads of the same file are automatically added to JDownloader, instead of having to manually open each page and add each download manually.

The .dlc files perform exactly the same function as above but without the need to have an extension installed, they are just pure text that is imported into JDownloader as downloads.

Could you guide me through the workflow in detail? I am planning to work on it after the release of FileCentipede 3.0. The more detailed your explanation, the better it would help me in implementing it efficiently.

This is the first time in my life that I get such a kind answer from a developer haha.

Well, in this video you can see the functionality of the .dlc files in JDownloader, basically I want to download something that its content is divided in different .zip, and each .zip is a separate link to a download platform like Mediafire, simply said, FileCrypt works as a link compiler, all the 19 links that you see in FileCrypt is to download the same file, and when I download the .dlc and put it in JDownloader it simply makes it easier for me the task of having to go manually link by link copying them to Jdownloader.

The Click'n Load function does exactly the same but without having to download a .dlc and put it in JDownloader, it's the same but with less steps, I don't show it in video because I have JDownloder installed as a flatpak and because of the sandbox capabilities of flatpak that won't work.

Here(553) is the link to the site where I want to download the file and here is the official JDownloader site which is open source.

I ask that once you finish testing please edit this comment and remove the link to the video and the download site, I love this software too much for it to get a DMCA or anything like that.

For me the best thing from Jdownloader is ability to add multihost accounts to download files from for example mega and auto generate premium links (for example real-debrid) :)

No problem, I will return to this project as soon as possible. In the meantime, if there are any other feature requests, please post them at https://github.com/filecxx/FileCentipede/discussions/402.

Thank you!

Is there an estimated date of when it could come out? 3.0?
