Feature: Ctrl+Tab cycle through tabs in recently used order #12168

What feature or improvement do you think would benefit Files?

Ctrl+Tab switches to the next tab, but does not switch to the recently used one. I think it's more useful to switch with the previously used one, like other apps do.

Microsoft Edge (and File Explorer) both go in order of the tabs, can you share an example of an app that switches in order of most recently used?

I really like the idea, yet I believe the two switching ways should be avalaible through either a different shortcut (Ctrl+Tab and Ctrl+Shift+Alt) or a setting toggle. Some people would like to have the switching we have today, and other the recently used way.

Vivaldi browser has an option for this.
