What feature or improvement do you think would benefit Files?

I propose the addition of a colorization feature in the Files app to visually distinguish files that have been created or modified within the last 24 hours. This enhancement aims to provide users with a quick and intuitive way to identify recently modified files, improving overall file management efficiency.

Requirements

Have you seen this feature in any other app? It might be useful to see how they implemented this.

Yes, in Directory Opus and Free Commander.

Can you share a screenshot? It would also to be helpful to see which configurations they support for this feature.

On Directory Opus you first define a label, in this particularly case Light Blue:

And then assign a filter on Light Blue label:

What about in Free Commander? Also, does the color apply to all columns?

In Free Commander is different. First you Add a new color class for specific attributes (1 class with Only for files and 1 with Directory checked):

And then Set color on those color classes:

Thank you for all the feedback, I think this will be a great feature to add to Files but we'll need some time work on the designs.
