Thanks for the feedback, This isn't a bug as there splash screen is there while Files is loading. There is no reason to have this turned off. Startup performance will be improved with future updates.
How about having the option to turning off the splash screen as an ehnacement?
Disabling splash screen enhances nothing. The window is still black or not shown yet. Btw, we have a plan to boost the startup (x2 at maximum) and hopefully it reduces wasting time.
Description
There's no option to disable the splash screen. This should ideally be configurable.
Files version: 3.7.11.0 OS version: Windows 11 23H2 (Build 22631.4317)
Cheers.
Steps To Reproduce
Execute the Files application
Requirements
There should be an option to disable the splash screen. This is instead forced upon the user.
