Issues with the app

There doesn't seem to be a good way to get in touch with you regarding app bugs. I've been using Tarot counter for a long time and am also in the beta, so these issues relate to the beta version:

• [ ] Ads appear even when paid for the app and ticked the box
• [ ] Can't delete players
• [ ] Some translations are not good and it's also difficult to work out what it should be from context. It would be good to be able to set the app language in the app (default being 'system default')
• [ ] In a 5 player game, entering the scores: the 'called player's' name won't highlight

Hi @Moohan, Almost all of this bugs are already fixed on my side weeks ago. I'm currently fighting with Google that doesn't allow me to publish the update (some libs has been deprecated between the new version). It will be hard (aka a lot of work) to set the app language in the app because there is actually one version of the app per language.

Nice that's great (that the issues are fixed, not that Google is being a pain).

For the translations, I'm happy to try and help but my difficulty is figuring out the context i.e. on this repo it's hard to work out the context of each text string. I think the best way would be to be able to see them in the app, but the second best would be to see the original french alongside the translation.

I have no idea how representative I am but because I learnt the game from French rules: I'd like the app to be in English but the game terms to be in French 😅
