Server load to heavy due to too much (local) connections #40

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Server load to heavy, too much connections
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Server become too slow, especially hosted on server with more VHOSTS

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version 2.23 of Feedlist

Please provide any additional information below.

My hosting provider has closed my website, due to the fact that feedlist
is linked to a rss feed which is on a subdomain of the hosted website.
The message was, that a lot of (local) connections are made without closing
them. After a while the server becomes very slow, even all VHOSTS hosted on
that machine are getting slow.

they said feedlist is the problem? hrm. This is the first I've heard of it.
I use
the built in wordpress facilities for connecting to remote feeds. I'll have to
look
into it and see if I can find any clues. Thanks for the heads up.
