Try loading the game directly from the drive (mount it on an image drive and
point
image reader to the drive path, ie: D:\).
You have to manually write the path, don't click "..." button.

checked with r11 - same black screen of death (see att1)

(r22 hangs on start - see att2)

The GDI version runs fine in r22, I've tested a CDI version and that doesn't
work
(same messages in the process window, but I don't get an error msgbox). The CDI
version does appear to be scene modified though (judging by the modified
'Licensed
by SEGA' start up screen), so maybe that does something quirky.

In summary, get the GDI version :)

While I'm here, thanks for the fixes that let Zero Gunner 2 and Cannon Spike
run - 2
of my favourites :)

The one of the gdrom plugin in the old version of nulldc 1.0 beta 1 could run
zero
gunner 2 cdi.
It's the problem of the gdrom plugin.

It could be a fault of the image... Does the cdi version work on a Dreamcast?
Even if it worked on beta 1.6 it could be a bug allowing it to work.

I got the GDI version and also couldn't get it to launch (neither works for
me), and i've tried r22. Weird. Maybe it's just hard to get a good image?

Dreamcast games are normally region-locked so they will not boot unless the
system has the same region (or even the right broadcast). Maybe that's your
.gdi issue?

any updates on this? i've never had a region locking issue on any game when
using emulators. Dunno if that's an issue here.

Has anyone had any luck running this game? I've tried several optomized files,
the gdi, and same issue with all of them. They freeze right after dreamcast
screen.

To update, the GDI version works for me on r50. The CDI version doesn't work.

Have you enabled the 'Patch GDROM Region' option in the GDROM plugin options?

Looking at it. Only rips of the game seem to have issues.

nice! Is there anyway where we can download compiled version of new updates?
I'll probably blow up my comp if I try to compile it on my own.
