Initial install via HACS did not work at all due to missing components. That issue was fixed by recent checkin (40 mins ago).

Now entire page of controls does not render because of presence of this control.

Please update HACS to the latest version (0.21.5) And reinstall lovelace-thermostat-card (v1.2.6)

The problem has been solved.
