Memory leak #17

There seems to be a memory leak when observing window attributes. A user reports this after several days of uptime and with many, many windows:

I did some trials and noticed something weird

every time I select a new window and drag it around (by using the regular title bar drag) the memory jumps by some amount, around 0.3 MB, and never goes down.
