Create official binary for as many users as possible #8

This probably entails creating the dmg on a 10.7 or even 10.6 system, to make sure it also works on these systems

To this end, perhaps we can create a virtual machine with Mac OS X 10.6 or 10.7, and create the disk image there. Then test it on various machines...

I have a working 10.7 VM; but 10.6 seems harder, I couldn't get it to start (perhaps due to the fact that my laptop is not supported by 10.6 officially, it is too new).

Still, that seems like a good start.
