Refactor the generator plugin #16

The generator plugin currently hardcodes a lot of HTML. It should instead either use templates, so that one can tweak how things look without having to dive into the plugin code.

Of course the best solution would probably be to get rid of the plugin completly; that would make deployment a bit easier.
