Fix for I/O Loop issue #3

I converted the sensor.py to be async instead of sync, this should solve the I/O loop issue, and it seems to run pretty well for me.

This should fix issue #2

Thanks for doing that.

I'll check it out for a couple of days just to make sure I don't see any issues and if not I'll get it merged.
