Since unit costs depends on price list from each cloud vendor, in recent analysis we found out that the currency in which your billing account operates and currency in which you charge your customers has a significant impact. For example, lets consider the Billing account is set up in EUR. Price list of the cloud provider is in USD. Over the past months there is an increase in evaluation of USD and the bill that we recieve for the same amount of consumption in EUR is higher.

And the above phenomenon has an effect on unit economics as well, based on the currencies in which your customers operate.

lots to unpack in that comment. 🤔 tldr: agreed - currency exhange is hard, unit economics is hard, and currency_xchg+unit_economics is 🤯 🤓

are they an F2 member @stevetrask ?
