Our goal is to mutually develop a governance framework that manages the on-boarding, development of, and running AI-based solutions within financial services organisations - allowing us all to unlock the potential of this disruptive technology in a safe, trustworthy and compliant way.
The AI readiness group is currently members-only, with meeting details shared via a private email list. To join the group, please contact membersuccess@finos.org.
FINOS meetings involve participation by industry competitors, and it is the intention of FINOS and the Linux Foundation to conduct all of its activities in accordance with applicable antitrust and competition laws. It is therefore extremely important that attendees adhere to meeting agendas, and be aware of, and not participate in, any activities that are prohibited under applicable US state, federal or foreign antitrust and competition laws. Please contact legal@finos.org with any questions.
FINOS project meetings may be recorded for use solely by the FINOS team for administration purposes. In very limited instances, and with explicit approval, recordings may be made more widely available.
Agenda and minutes
The AI readiness group current follows Chatham House Rules, and as a result meetings will not publish formal minutes.
We recap what was discussed in last week "core team" meeting, namely the growing consensus of open sourcing the Simple Governance Framework (SGF) by OSFF NYC, and the need to organise an in-person NYC workshop to finalise any missing parts of SGF. A new GH issue is raised to plan for OSFF and create a roadmap for the group
We discussed i) aggregating regulatory pieces / opinions in a folder and ii) aggregating any threat model works in a folder.
Suggested to collaborate through GH issues and PRs, with email thread too
We discussed CCC integration down the road
Raised awareness of sensitive data in AI data pipelines
Intention to have next sync meetings as working sessions
