Our goal is to mutually develop a governance framework that manages the on-boarding, development of, and running AI-based solutions within financial services organisations - allowing us all to unlock the potential of this disruptive technology in a safe, trustworthy and compliant way.
The AI readiness group is currently members-only, with meeting details shared via a private email list. To join the group, please contact membersuccess@finos.org.
FINOS meetings involve participation by industry competitors, and it is the intention of FINOS and the Linux Foundation to conduct all of its activities in accordance with applicable antitrust and competition laws. It is therefore extremely important that attendees adhere to meeting agendas, and be aware of, and not participate in, any activities that are prohibited under applicable US state, federal or foreign antitrust and competition laws. Please contact legal@finos.org with any questions.
FINOS project meetings may be recorded for use solely by the FINOS team for administration purposes. In very limited instances, and with explicit approval, recordings may be made more widely available.

We started by reviewing the outputs of the in-person workshop last week (12 Sep 2024).
Outputs from the workstream relating to the governance framework are being added directly via pull requests
For the value-prop workstream we discussed adding this to the framework pre-amble #46
There was a further discussion about responsible AI. We intend to set up a separate working group once the AI readiness framework goes 'public' at OSFF
We discussed scope of v1 release, with consensus that the RAG / chat use case was sufficient scope for v1
Regarding framework linkage, it was recommended that we start with NIST and OWASP (LLM top 10)
There were discussions about a further workshop session, which will be organised on an ad-hoc basis
We will aim for an in person (informal) gathering at OSFF. @lucaborella89 @karlmoll to suggest a suitable time
