Meeting notices

FINOS Project leads are responsible for observing the FINOS guidelines for running project meetings. Project maintainers can find additional resources in the FINOS Maintainers Cheatsheet.
All participants in FINOS project meetings are subject to the LF Antitrust Policy, the FINOS Community Code of Conduct and all other FINOS policies.
FINOS meetings involve participation by industry competitors, and it is the intention of FINOS and the Linux Foundation to conduct all of its activities in accordance with applicable antitrust and competition laws. It is therefore extremely important that attendees adhere to meeting agendas, and be aware of, and not participate in, any activities that are prohibited under applicable US state, federal or foreign antitrust and competition laws. FINOS project meetings may be recorded for use solely by the FINOS team for administration purposes. In very limited instances, and with explicit approval, recordings may be made more widely available.

- Still some administrative steps required to officially onboard at Morgan Stanley.
- See who might be able to navigate the process more efficiently.
- Might be interesting opportunity to integrate with FINOS Perspective.

- ICLA for dzmipt has been signed!
- Approvers should check if any relevant PRs that need review.
- Also check that PRs have appropraite CLA tags.
- RSyntaxTextArea LICENSE file looking good now with recent tweaks.

- A bit of discussion on LF goings-on in light of log4j vulnerability.
- Linux Foundation invited along with other key technology players to discuss open source security at the White House(!).
- FINOS happy to receive suggestions for security / DevOps checks.
- Will want to make these processes low friction to avoid discouraging participation in open source.

- https://github.com/finos/compliant-financial-infrastructure has made changes already.
- FINOS can update the branch name for us as long as any PRs are merged.
  - @mcleo-d will create an issue and communicate the dates.
- GitHub will pop up a notice with the git commands to update one's sandbox.
  - "If you have a local clone, you can updated it by running: ..."
- LFX Security already has an inclusive language scanner:

- Part of managing operational risk and claiming SLA credits.
- CFI is currently more about CDMC (Cloud Data Management Capabilities) than SLA.

There have been some high-profile cloud outages accompanied by inaccurate dashboards.

Being able to run a suite of benchmarks on demand would provide evidence that SLA credits should be issued.
