Exploring FDC3 for RegTech #26

At the Regulation Innovation SIG meeting on May 4th we briefly discussed the topic of extending FDC3 for RegTech, following on from the presentation Riko Eksteen gave at the March 2nd SIG meeting.

Several firms have expressed interest in exploring the topic further so we are setting up an initial joint discussion between the FDC3 community (leading the FINOS FDC3 project delivering an open interoperability standard for the financial desktop) and those in our community focused on reg and regtech. The ambition is to extend the FDC3 standard across Regtech with participation from technology/platform vendors and financial institutions following the model established by FDC3 where the protocols are in production use and solving a number of challenges around interoperability.

As a next step, we are scheduling a call to explore the opportunity in more detail. Please add a comment to this issue if you are interested in joining this or future discussions.
