Having the option to sync files whenever you like it's really a good thing - but sometimes a good auto sync option really comes in handy.

spartako commented 9 years ago

Definitely. Having the option to sync when attempting to close the project would also be interesting.

Good job!

Is it possible to trigger an "upload file" every time you save it?

fioan89 commented 7 years ago

It is possible, but it is not currently implemented.

Hi @fioan89 I'd like to contribute to this issue. This is something I really need in my current workplace! As far as I understand, this is not currently implemented, right?

fioan89 commented 6 years ago

Hi @punitkoura it's not implemented, but any help is welcomed.

bradhvr commented 6 years ago

Is there any chance this might be implemented at some point?

fioan89 commented 6 years ago

Hopefully yes. I can't provide you a timeline yet, but I plan for the beginning of the year to start some refactoring and remove support for FTP/FTPS (which seems to not be widely used) and add support for features that are periodically requested.

Hi all . I just wanted to let you know that I've released Sourcesync Pro, a paid variant for Sourcesync with extra features. One of them is auto-sync when files are saved. Among other things, Sourcesync Pro also adds support for recursive, folder transfer. and local vs remote file comparison (integrated with IntelliJ Diff tool). Please check out https://plugins.jetbrains.com/plugin/22318-source-synchronizer-pro

I will continue to maintain and improve Sourcesync - the free&opensource version however some features that are more complex to implement and maintain will live in the Pro variant. Thank you for your understanding and support.

Warm regards, Ioan
